After just purchasing a phone in rural England,  I could not agree more with the dismal state of broadband aside from technology business areas.  There were a few internet cafes, but otherwise it was weak.  This story from the BBC paints an accurate picture. Broadband black spots still rife. Most villages in the UK cannot get broadband, even though two million people now have fast net access. [BBC News | Technology | UK Edition] 10:02:40 PM
